The Wagga 5000 is open to everyone. Whether you're an experienced runner, a weekend jogger, or taking on your first 5K, we'd love to have you involved. We will also have a festival for non runners.
Yes. Participants will receive an official race time.
We recommend arriving at least 45–60 minutes before the start to allow time for parking, bib collection, warm-up, and soaking up the atmosphere.
You can pick up your bib at the event precinct on the day of the event.
Yes! Your pacer will be there on the day to support you during the race.
You will be notified 5 days prior to the event via email.
Yes! We’ll be bringing all the vibes.Join us before and after your run for a vibrant festival atmosphere featuring entertainment, food, activities, and plenty of post-run celebrations.
For safety and awareness of other participants, we advise headphones not to be used during the race.
Yes. There is plenty of parking available at the event
Yes, the Wagga 5000 event will be supported by local food and drink vendors, with plenty of options for the whole family.
Yes. We'd love your help. If you'd like to be part of the event team, get in touch.
Definitely. Spectators are encouraged to come along, cheer on participants, and enjoy the event atmosphere.
The event will proceed in most weather conditions. Any changes due to severe weather will be communicated to participants via Wagga 5000 social media.
Yes. Toilet facilities and water stations will be available at the event venue.
Your entry helps cover event operations, timing, safety services, permits, and the continued growth of community running events in Wagga.
Merch is available during registration. Merch purchases with registration will be available for collection on race day.
If severe weather or unsafe conditions require the event to be cancelled, postponed, or modified, participants will be notified via Wagga 5000 social media. Participant safety is our top priority.
You must complete the race within the time indicated in your registration to ensure the event run's on time.
